Food Farmacy was born out of a deeply personal journey and a vision for promoting wellbeing the way I experience it.

I have seen the healing power of food and community. Years before Food Farmacy existed, I witnessed my mother recover from a period of depression through simple but profound lifestyle changes — nourishing food, supportive community, and a renewed connection with life.

Years later, I faced my own battle with breast cancer. During that time, food once again became a powerful ally in my healing journey. A whole food plant-based lifestyle, combined with community support, helped me regain strength and wellbeing. That experience reinforced a conviction that had been growing in my heart for years:

Food can be powerful medicine.

Before creating Food Farmacy, I spent a decade living in New York, first as a student and later working as an executive in global banking. Those years shaped my appreciation for vibrant, high-quality food and diverse culinary cultures.

When I eventually stepped away from corporate life, I carried with me a simple vision: to create a place where good food could nourish the whole person — body, mind, and community.

Food Farmacy was created to bring together those experiences: a love for delicious, fresh food, a belief in the healing power of whole plant foods, and a desire to make this way of eating accessible to everyone.

Today, Food Farmacy exists to make Food as Medicine accessible to our community, helping people eat well, heal well, and live well.
